two incredible evenings of music at Memorial!

On Saturday, November 19 at 7:30 pm, Christina Davison performed the violin and sang soprano accompanied by Don Shabkie on the piano. Click HERE for the performance list.

Davison and Shabkie performed works by Chaminade, Kreisler, and Franck. In addition, Davison, an accomplished soprano, sang works by Britten and J.S. Bach.

On Saturday, February 25 at 7:30 pm, Don Shabkie will present a solo piano concert, featuring original piano works, as well as music by Beethoven and Chopin. Click HERE for the performance list.

Admission to concert series events is FREE, however the church will take up an offering that will help fund the traditional music and arts program.

 
Christina Davison  has been playing the violin for more than 25 years. She earned a Bachelor of Performance degree in Violin from Furman University and a Master of Arts degree in Musicology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She loves making music of various styles, including classical, Celtic, and jazz. She and her husband, Jonas, have three children and are currently pursuing a career as long-term missionaries to Tokyo, where they lived from 2012-2016.
