elementary CHILDREN'S sunday school

Location: Family Life Center, Second Floor (See Campus Map)

• K5 and 1st Grade Sunday School – last room on the left

• 2nd and 3rd Grade Sunday School– fourth room on the left

• 4th and 5th Grade Sunday School – last room on the right

Elementary Sunday School (K5-5th grade) follows a rotation model that repeats one lesson, tied to the sermon series, for 3-4 weeks. Each week children rotate to a different activity station to experience the story in a new way, such as Bible Building Blocks (legos), art, drama, music, cooking, Bible games, Bible skills, scavenger hunt, video, and more. 

Please note that because elementary age children participate in Rotation Sunday School, they will often be picked up at a different location than their drop-of classroom. That location will be listed on the white board outside their primary classroom door.

Memorial United Methodist Church provides a Safe Sanctuary for children.  We require training, background checks, and adherence to policies for all volunteers working with our children.
